I was very excited to try this little lens when I needed speed and ease. Seizing it from the box, the first thing I noticed how small the front compared to my other Zuiko. Shot a bunch of pictures. put it on my E-1, shot more pictures. Now it’s time for Olympus Studio PhotoShop magic and finish. Ugh! AC everywhere! Borders, the center everywhere. I had this goal by performing Komachi, a special limited edition package of Olympus is probably only available at brick and mortar retailers camera, and I’m very glad I did. If optical quality is a bit more satisfied than I give him five stars, but because it is a great little lens and definitely worth owning if you have E-420 and focus on size.
As this was the only goal arrived with my camera, I shot a lot with it from the beginning and found that some issues have been defined distorted. These can often be circumvented with tutoring, and part of why I wanted to have a basic goal was that I wanted to think about composition and walk instead of standing and zoom, it has not really diminished my enjoyment of the case. In addition, the equivalent 50mm FOV will not be of benefit to all shooting situations, but some of the things I like about this lens is so small that I literally never leave home without it, so I’m never without a backup.
The bottom line: technically, this goal is what you expect about $ 200, which means it is not without problems. And yes, most standard zoom lens covers that range. But as a tool to help you think about photography differently, and because it makes E-420 (and even the E-520, really) very compact package that you may be more likely to carry and to capture the moments you want to also wish to you had your camera is worth the price.

This is very visible if you take a picture of the architecture. In addition, if you shoot in very bright conditions, not the lens shows a good turnover and this can be corrected in post processing. But if you shoot B & W will not be a problem.
In the end, the price and size, it is an excellent lens, although I would not recommend it for any critical work. I highly recommend this purpose.

This goal has been a catalyst for the upgrade to a system Olympus (E-420) that I wanted portability and good understanding at the same time. It is perfect for E-420 (or E-410) and this combination gives a good balance between portability and IQ – plus a bonus was that this combo is so fun to use!
For this purpose a number of relatively prime lens, zooming is not, but a fixed set of 25mm (50mm in 35mm terms) which is comparable with our own eyes see the physical world. He makes great street photography and keeps you more alert than his legs back zoom homework! This type of photography for fun and requires more thought to the composition of your images that will only improve your skills in photography. Another thing I noticed is that you can capture more natural images, where the substance does not affect the response because it is a case very discretely, unlike stick zooms in someone’s face. Gone is the problem with being paranoid in research as a photographic journalist nerd or a traveler with a zoom silly hanging around your neck – and it may be valuable in itself.
Image quality wise, I think it’s great how you look ultra-light and compact, it has. Of course there are prime numbers that are more accurate and can control AC better, but is three times thicker and heavier, so there are always compromises. The main attractions of this lens is extremely portable and easy to choose when you use this lens before departure. It’s a great feeling of freedom knowing that you can only write about this case and to travel without feeling constrained and know that you always get good pictures. I do not think that other brands offer such a thing, it is unique in the market. Even the excellent Pentax Limited is quite heavy and not too thin.
Popularity in this case with Olympus a surprise even to those not responding to the high demand during its first excursion. Fortunately, there are enough supplies for everyone to finally get their dirty mitts on one!
Now I am waiting patiently for what other delicious pancakes Olympus has in store (and I’m sure there will be more), but in the meantime, this goal will help me take pictures at home in places where others will not really help. “Br />

I bought this lens from B & H about a week ago. It was the only one I have seen anywhere in the warehouse, and I got him directly, and no others appeared.
