I bought this lens to get out of here “and there’s bound to zoom out and take pictures of. The goal is a bit slow to AF when the lights are low, but yet I have no real problems with it. A sharp in all ranges. I work at a bird preserve and I’m always taking pictures of birds, including birds in flight. When my old Sigma 70-300mm lens died this summer, I wondered if I could replace it with something that I loved so much. I used with my Minolta SLR camera for years, and then a few months with my new Sony digital SLR, and he is good. But this Tamron lens far exceeded mine expectations. It is relatively easy, it feels sturdy enough to withstand hard use. Emphasis is strong and fast and it works very well with Sony Super Steady Shot feature (essential for me because I do not use a tripod). The new Tamron Di goal is to work with digital cameras, including those working for 35mm and Di (Di-II only works with smaller, APS-C chip size digital cameras).
